To keep our body healthy, it is important that we think positive, exercise
properly and eat nutritious food. The practice of Qi Gong in China
and the use of Chinese cooking techniques have existed for over 3000
years and have proven to be very successful in accomplishing this goal.
Master Philip Lai has over 20 years of professional and commercial cooking
experience as well as 30 years in the practice of Qi Gong. In this session,
he will show you how the application of Qi Gong principles to the preparation,
cooking and eating of Chinese vegetarian dishes will result in healthier
and more delicious food for your body.
Vegetarian food is low in
fat, protein, sugar, and salt, and high in fiber. It is effective in
making you:
- Decreasing heart problems and high blood pressure. Meat contains
large quantities of saturated fatty acid, eating meat in the long term
will raise one’s cholesterol, and increase the risk of circulatory
illness. Vegetarian cooking uses fresh vegetables and fruits that,
by contrast, clean and purify the blood vessels.
- Prevent osteoporosis.
Green vegetables, fruits and dairy products are abundant in vitamin
C and calcium. The more you eat, the healthier
you become!
- Decrease the risk of getting cancer. Plant food, such as tofu, vegetables,
and fruit, contain vitamins, minerals and other substances that stop
cancer. Compared to meat eaters, vegetarians have lower rates of
cancer.
- Cleanse the kidneys and spleen.
- Help maintain a youthful appearance
and beautiful skin. The more fresh vegetables and food you consume,
the more moist your skin
will be.
- Decrease weight gain. Plant proteins are low in fat
and vegetables contain lots of fiber. Weight gain is less likely.
- Live longer.
“Eating vegetables” is so good for your body. What do you
need to pay attention to when selecting ingredients and cooking? What
things do you need to be aware of when you are preparing delicious vegetarian
food? Be sure to understand the following points. As long as you eat
the right way, it is not difficult to maintain your health and youth!
- Select natural ingredients. Fresh vegetables and fruits are excellent
ingredients for cooking, so make good use of them.
- Select a wide variety of ingredients. Do not be picky about food.
- When selecting ingredients, be sure to supplement enough protein,
calcium, iron and vitamin.
- Select fresh ingredients to avoid loss of flavor.
- Do not add too much oil to your dish and use as little chemical seasoning
as possible.
- Do not add too much sugar or salt to your dish.
In addition to being tasty, food makes a healthy body.
